- Profile information — optional details such as location, skill rating (DUPR), and a profile avatar.

2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate and improve the Pickle+ service.
- Display your profile and stats to other registered players (name and rating only — your email is never shown to other users).
- Send transactional emails such as event confirmations and password resets.
- Detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive activity.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. Sharing of Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers — third-party platforms (e.g. Microsoft Azure for hosting, SendGrid for email) that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us (see section 8). Aggregated, anonymised statistics may be retained indefinitely.

Pickle+ uses only essential cookies required for authentication (session cookie) and security (anti-forgery token). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, and regular security reviews to protect your data. No system is completely secure; please use a strong, unique password for your account.

Pickle+ is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
