Pickleball Stats App
How Pickle+ tracks your wins, ratings, and match history — and why players use it to measure and improve their game.
What Pickle+ Tracks
Pickle+ is a free pickleball stats app that gives every player a personal profile showing their complete game history. Unlike a paper scorebook or a basic spreadsheet, it updates instantly every time you log a result or complete an event.
Here's everything captured for each player:
Win / Loss Record
Total games played, wins, losses, and your overall win percentage — updated after every logged result.
Win & Loss Streaks
Your current streak — how many wins or losses in a row — so you can spot momentum shifts in your game.
Match History
A full log of every game you've recorded: date, score, partner, and outcome — searchable and sortable.
DUPR Rating Display
Add your DUPR rating to your profile so it shows alongside your Pickle+ stats for a complete skill snapshot.
Badges & Milestones
Earn badges as you hit milestones — first win, 10-game streak, tournament podium finish, and more.
Event Performance
Stats from events you've entered — round robins, King of the Court, leagues — tracked separately from casual play.
Win Rate and Streaks
Your win rate is the core metric on your Pickle+ profile. It's calculated as:
Win Rate = (Wins ÷ Total Games) × 100
For example, if you've played 40 games and won 26, your win rate is 65%. This figure is shown on your public player profile, on your club's leaderboard, and in the players directory so others can gauge relative skill levels.
Your current streak tracks consecutive wins or losses from your most recent games. A streak of W6 means your last six logged results were wins. Streaks reset whenever the outcome changes direction.
Match History
Every game you log is stored permanently in your match history. Each entry shows:
- Date and time of the match
- Game score (e.g. 11–7, 11–9)
- Doubles partner (if applicable)
- Whether it was a casual game, event game, or open session
- Win or loss outcome
Your history is visible on your profile, making it easy to spot trends — for example, whether you perform better in mornings vs. evenings, or at particular venues.
Leaderboards
Pickle+ has both a global leaderboard and club-level leaderboards. The club leaderboard shows rankings for all members within a club — ranked by win rate, total wins, or games played — and refreshes in real time as results are logged.
This turns your regular club sessions into something more competitive without any extra admin work. Players can see where they sit relative to their regular hitting partners and track improvement over time.

Event-Based Stats
Pickle+ separates event results from casual games. When you play in an organised event — a round robin, King of the Court session, or ladder league — those results are tracked independently.
This matters because it lets you compare your competitive performance against your casual win rate. Some players who win most of their casual games discover their win rate drops in structured competition, which tells them something meaningful about their game under pressure.
Event stats include placement, points scored, rounds played, and head-to-head results against specific opponents within that event.

DUPR Integration
DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) is the most widely used skill rating system in pickleball. Ratings run from 2.0 (beginner) to 8.0 (pro level), and are calculated from verified match results on the DUPR platform.
Pickle+ lets you display your DUPR rating on your player profile. It sits alongside your Pickle+ win rate and game history, giving your profile a full picture: your competitive rating (DUPR) and your in-app performance data (wins, streaks, events) in one place.

Badges and Milestones
Pickle+ awards badges as players hit milestones — these appear on your public profile and in the activity feed. Badges include:
- First Win — log your first winning game
- Win Streak — achieve a streak of consecutive wins
- Century — play your 100th logged game
- Tournament Podium — finish in the top 3 of a Pickle+ event
- Club Regular — attend a set number of club sessions
Badges give casual players a sense of progress and achievement beyond just the scoreline, and give organisers a visible way to recognise their most active members.
How to Get Started
Why Track Your Pickleball Stats?
Most casual pickleball players have a rough sense of how good they are based on feel — but without data, it's hard to measure improvement, identify weaknesses, or make a case for moving up to a higher skill bracket.
Here's why tracking your stats makes a real difference:
- Visible progress — seeing your win rate tick upward over months confirms that your practice and coaching are working.
- Honest benchmarking — your stats give you a factual answer when organising teams, grouping players by skill, or entering rated events.
- Motivation — active streaks, badges, and leaderboard positions give you tangible reasons to keep showing up and keep improving.
- Better competition matching — organisers can use your Pickle+ stats to create more balanced draws in round robins and social events.
- Community — your public profile connects you with other players, makes you discoverable, and builds your reputation in your local pickleball scene.
